TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Fast ForWord is the online component of the Learnerobics® program.

Learnerobics® is a combination of Fast ForWord and growth mindset coaching.
 

1. The enrolment is paid for in full before commencement, unless agreed to by Learnerobics. 

2. Outcome expectations from doing the Fast ForWord program allows for the constraints on the effectiveness of the program (see below). 

3. The enrolment is continuous and may not be paused during the enrolment period, unless agreed to by Learnerobics. Each subscription allows for a 2 week break within the enrolment period, to cover sickness, camps, holidays and the like.

4. Results rely on your commitment to attend 5 x 30 minute sessions per week and are best measured over 3 months.

5. As Fast ForWord adapts to each student, they may not complete a module within the given time.  An additional monthly subscription cost may be required to complete the current module and to get the most benefit for the participant. The cost will be proportionate to the enrolment period and is not compulsory.  

6. The participant, or participant’s parent/s or guardian/s will agree to use the program in accordance to the protocols advised by Learnerobics. Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring compliance and that all exercises presented each day are completed. This will result in the best possible outcome. 

7. While there is much scientifically based evidence for the effectiveness of the Fast ForWord programs, Learnerobics does not warrant any particular outcome or result, as individual brains differ. Please see Considerations that may impact the effectiveness of Fast ForWord below.

8. Learnerobics will provide technical support relating to the Fast ForWord programs, but will not be responsible for the compatibility or performance of the participant’s computer or devices.

9. The participant or participant’s parent/s or carer/s agree not to copy, rent, lease, lend, licence, sub-licence, sell, export, assign, transfer or in any other way disseminate, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works or adaptations of the Fast ForWord software.

10. The Fast ForWord program must be commenced within one week of purchase unless otherwise agreed to by Learnerobics. 

11. You agree to receive emails from us which, if you do not find valuable, can unsubscribe from anytime.

Considerations that may impact the effectiveness of Fast ForWord:

Ability to sit down for 30 minutes, 5 days per week – The Fast ForWord program places a continual, repetitive demand on the brain to force the pathways to make better connections.  If your child is not ready for this, please let us know during your free consult as we still may be able to help.  If you or your family is not ready to commit yet, please stay in touch through our community for when you are.

Ability to use a mouse or iPad – the user must be capable of using the mouse or their iPad to interact with the Fast ForWord program. 

Autism – depending where the student is on the spectrum, progress may be slow or limited. 

Cerebral Palsy – progress may be limited or slow due to physical restraints. 

Colour Blindness – Several exercises rely on colour differentiation. 

Developmental delay or intellectual impairment – progress may be limited or slow. 

Down Syndrome – progress may be limited or slow. 

Dyspraxia – Fast ForWord will not help with the motor planning of Dyspraxia but may be of use in addressing language development. 

Hearing impairment – some users with hearing impairment may need an FM loop as Fast ForWord requires the user to be able to hear auditory stimuli. 

Sight impairment – Fast ForWord relies on viewing a computer screen.
